ABOUT US
We, the founding members of Ladder Yetu Foundation, are committed to supporting, advocating for, and protecting the fundamental human rights of vulnerable children aged 2-18 years whose parents have died, are disabled, or too poor to care for them.
We extend our support to their families and women's groups, regardless of their status, gender, nationality, religion, or political beliefs.

Our foundation is rooted in integrity, gender equality, non-discrimination, transparency, and accountability. We strive to remain a member-driven organization and work efficiently to keep administration costs low while maintaining transparency.

PROJECT CONTEXT
Arusha, a city with a dual face of development and poverty, struggles with high levels of family dysfunction, low household income, and poor living conditions. Vulnerable children and women are the most affected. Our programs target children and their families from squatter settlements around Arusha, beginning with the Sanawari area.
